The Hot One. Well that is an appropriate title for no other than Tyler Nichols. But hot is only one word that comes to mind when describing him. Try sexy, charming, persistent.
Persistent because the moment he runs into his former love interest from many years ago he will stop at nothing to win her back. Not an easy task as it turns out. But a task worth taking on.

Delaney can't believe it when she sees Tyler again, in his flesh, still as hot and desirable as the last time she saw him. But then there is the memory of the pain he caused her all those years ago. Pain she doesn't want to experience again.
Will his numerous attempts to win her back finally work?

Yes I have and I love them both dearly.
Very talented people who are clearly born to do this and I enjoy their performances every time.

Any additional comments?

I really enjoyed reading this book and now after listening to the audio it's even better because of the emotions narrators put in their work and make the book more alive.

Lauren Blakely knows what her readers wants and she happily gives it to them.
Well done!

LOVED IT!

I loved this book and who wouldn't enjoy the great narration and the story line about long lost love being reunited! Definite page turner!

Tyler and Delaney

A second chance romance. After Tyler breaks Delaneys heart in College choosing his focus in school suggested by his mentor then his career 8 years later he sees his first love jogging in the park and it brings back all those feelings and regrets for hurting her vowing to make it right and explain why he did it and how it was the wrong choice. He is persistent but I think Delaney forgave him to soon and should have made him work for it harder. Delaney still has issues with abandonment from. her own Father and then Tyler that she is still working through. You need to read or listen to their story to get the full experience. Zachary and Andi do a wonderful job in the telling and he makes a perfect Tyler.

My favorite author + my favorite narrators= Magic!

Would you listen to The Hot One again? Why?

Yes. Andi and Zachary are two of my favorite narrators and them reading Lauren's words is absolute perfection.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Tyler. Because he's funny, sexy and I love him more hearing Zachary.

Which scene was your favorite?

I loved their first date. I laughed so hard I cried!

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Tyler gives a few good monologues. He's great at expressing his feelings!

Any additional comments?

I loved every second of this book. The writing is top notch. The characters are well developed, strong, caring and loyal. Overall, this second chance romance is the perfect mix of sexy, funny, sweet, hot and emotional. I didn't want to stop reading and I already want more Tyler and Delaney! Now, I'm going to schedule a massage and go shoe shopping!
