I'm the author and narrator of 'Bane' and I thought I'd share a few things about the book which you wouldn't get from the description or sample.

There are quite a few steamy scenes in this story, but this is not erotica. This story is about love and heartbreak. As an Amazon reviewer said, "There were great emotional ups and downs all through this book that just gripped you from the inside and took you on the ride of your life."

As a reader, I love twists and turns. So, as an author, I'm always sure to include lots of them. Sure, all of my books end happily, but the journey there is the fun part. And a lot of twists gets packed into this sexy novella.

Also, who doesn't have a weakness for beautiful, vulnerable guys? I know I sure do, So, of course, that is what Bane is. Will Bane become the man of your dreams? Who knows? But, he sure is mine. ;-)

I enjoy A. Anders storytelling, but this one fell a little short on what I generally expect from this author. An emotional roll-a-coaster, there was enough going on in the story to keep me interested, but I didn't really feel the "connection" that holds these characters together. That being said, i'd still listen to it again.

This is my very first audible book. Love the story. Gives me an inside look at all relationships and that we all have same emotions. I just struggle with the real "Love" as a word or emotion. I am so used to reading as a book, this method is easier and faster.
