Publisher's Summary

World-renowned Chef Prescott Vaughan was at the height of his career. Right before he's to leave for Paris to work alongside his idol, a horrific car accident leaves him completely blind.

His female fiance leaves him in a state of desperation and depression. He pines for love and companionship and so happens to find it in the form of his very sexy neighbor. His sexy male neighbor, Dr. Rickson "Ric" Edwards.

Prescott's not gay - at least he never considered himself gay - until Ric saves him from a date gone terribly wrong. The two neighbors hit it off quickly, and things are great until Ric begins to have his doubts about meeting Prescott's many wants.

When Ric insists he and Prescott take a breather, Pres finds himself lonely and lacking again. Enter male escort and aspiring chef Blair McKenzie to fill the void.

When Ric is finally ready and returns to claim Prescott, he's not sure that Pres can let go of the sexy, Southern hotness that is Blair McKenzie.

Pres soon realizes that there's no need to choose between his two men, because when all three of them finally come together - grab a cold drink - the heat is going to go all the way up!

Contains mature themes.

I waited so long

Was looking forward to this Press's story. love AE Via's books. slow to start but good overall story. the narration ruined it for me. so used to the strong sexy voices used for Godrey, Day & the others. I was disappointed with Sean's performance.

It had such potential

I love this story. It is one of my go-to rereads by AE Via so when I learned it was coming to Audible, I was elated! Sadly, though, the narrator left so much to be desired. While he did make distinctions in the voices, he make Pres sound as if he were high with the way he slurred his words, and there was no emotion behind them. He just…..read. There was no passion during the passionate times, there was nothing. He simply read the words on the page and that is so disappointing. Ms Via’s work is pure perfection and deserves to be performed, not simply read.

Always the best

I love all of A E Via's books...this one was just a good as the other's. The narration had its moments when you didn't know which MC was talking but it came around. I can't wait for her other books to go to audible.

🙁 vary disappointing

I love this author and this series these guys came from. But this was so disappointing!!
1. The storyline was just boring. There wasn’t any real chemistry between these people.
2. The narrator was not grate, his voice was the same for any Emotion. Even in the sex or angry times he just sounded bored.
3. The part with ( someone else from a different story 😉) was just sad and toxic.

One of my favorite books finally on audible but…..

This is one of my favorite books , I can read it over and over,
So I was very happy to see that it was out on audio .
I’m sorry to say that even dough I do like Sean Crisden as narrator in other books , I did not
Liked it at all for this book. His reading went at a very fast pace and automatic.
He put Very little feeling in to this great story. AE Via’s writing is perfection.
But I ’m so disappointed with this audible I can not recommend it with assurity that it will be enjoyed.
I did not enjoyed this audible at all do to the missed Matched narration.
I m not able to return this book. I will not be listening To it ever again. shame , shame .shame .

Great Book Awful Narration

I love A.E. Via's books and most are narrated by Aiden Snowden who does a great job. Not sure why this one is done by Sean Crisden but it is like he is reading stereo instructions. There is no passion and the accents are too over done. Still liked the book though.

Sigh!!

This book is so wonderful. With all of Press's struggles, when he meets Rick and he's his Sunshine, wow, then the big breakup. Then add Blair to the relationship, slowly. Press gets his sight back. This is an amazing heartfelt story and I loved it. I love Sean Crisden's narration. I will listen to this more than just once.

More than meets the eye

Story: Picking up an AE Via book is guaranteed to be a rollercoaster of emotions. This one certainly fits the bill! High on emotions and real life challenges, the story of two chefs and a doctor was really good! I really liked the characters the author created and the overall plot. There are plenty ups and downs that had me rooted to the story.
Performance: Not my favorite to be honest. The voice is very pleasant, pronounciation clear and easy to follow. That being said, the voices the narrator used and the inflections grated on me throughout the book. In moments of high passion the characters sounded almost bored, when trying for seductive voices - drunk. It's most likely a case of individual likes and dislikes, but I did not click with this narrator's performance.
