Oh Danny, Oh boy...

I loved this story! I love how Fiona gave us insight into what made Hannah, Hannah and how sweet, dirty and delectable Danny is. Like, really the sweetest of the bunch. The story didnt have much in terms of twists and turns - I expected Daniel to give into his more lecherous side and for Hannah to go on a date that wasnt Daniel but I could live with the love story it was.

I hope this isn't the end of the Voyeur crew - I could see some further developments but for now, all is well.

Absolutely love Brian Pallino.
It was my first time listening to Ava Erickson but this narrators work for this story. Love the innocence of her voice that gave life to Hanna!

Meh

I’ve enjoyed the previous books but this story didn’t do it for me. Narration was good but very anticlimactic. They touched on scary topics which was something different but the story itself was lacking to me.

Daniel...

Fiona Cole delivers. I have read the book twice. I don't know if a Daniel type really exists, but geesh. Brian did a fantastic job bringing him to life. I pre-ordered this one bc it is my favorite of the Voyeur series (one of the best series out there). I love sweet, strong Hanna as the main character. I struggled warming up to her due to her behavior in a previous book in the series. However, she is a hero in this one. Love the characters, the writing, and the narrators. Worth a credit? Yes.

Loved it!

This was such a great story of overcoming past traumas and letting the walls fall down around you that you built up to protect yourself.

Along with all of the fun spicy moments, were moments of true connection and protection.

Amazing

Fiona Cole is one of the best writers I’ve come across and I’ve been reading books for over 22 years. Her stories are always well written with enough depth and passion to balance it all out. The narrators of this novel were fantastic. Such a pleasure to listen to. On to her next work!

Too easy

The characters just came together too easily. Besides their tragedies there was no other substance to the characters that made the book likable or interesting.

I’ve read one other book by Fiona Cole and that was Voyeur. It was definitely better than this book. Teacher was just okay in my opinion. Good storyline, but would’ve liked more details on what happened to Hanna. Maybe it was told in the other books, but being a standalone you would think Fiona would’ve given her readers some back history.

The MC’s were just meh to me...nothing to write home about. Yes, the sex was hot, but I never got that real connection between them.

Daniel just seem bored most of the time. Like he could take it or leave it.
Their just wasn’t much growth between the two characters. One minute their friends and the next minute they’re in love.
Hanna supposedly hated to be touched, but she had no problems with the exercises that Daniel requested or the dirty talking he did. I would think if someone went through that much trauma like Hannah did, there would be a lot of things that she would not be able to tolerate. So that whole part of the book was kinda unbelievable to me. Anyhow the book wasn’t horrible, but it definitely wasn’t great..


Audiobook review: 5 Stars. Ave Erickson is always wonderful. I love her soft smooth voice. I haven’t listen to Brian Pallino to much, but I think that’s about to change. I seriously think he has a sexy voice and love his narrating. Both narrators show so much emotion in their voices and that to me helps the book in a big way!

I really enjoyed this story, I listened to it in one sitting. Daniel and Hannah suit and complement each other. They've both been through some tough emotions. The story will keep you engaged to the very end. I need a Daniel in my life. This book will be added to my favourite collection.
The narrators were brilliant, they brought the characters to life.
