Soul Card

The Splintered Five Saga: A LitRPG Isekai Adventure (Soulbound Contractor, Book 1)

By: WillPowah

Narrated by: Daniel Thomas May

All he wanted was a fresh start. Now he’ll have to fight to keep it.

Dryth is an outcast—unwanted by his family and ostracized by his peers. His only dream? To get his Soul Card and vanish somewhere far from home. But, as always, nothing goes according to plan.

His Soul Card? The Contractor Card. A mage class that lets him form potent contracts with magical beings to gain power. Except his version comes with a twist: soul-forged pacts. If one of his bonded creatures dies, he dies too.
The good news? A young winged serpent is willing to take the risk.

The bad news? Someone wants them both dead—and one kill takes them both out.

With a merciless murderer closing in, Dryth will have to fight, level up, and defy the odds... or die trying.

Another grate set

I was wondering what the splinter five was all about but I’m excited to see how this story plays out and if the tow friends ever meet each other. If you are confused then read blood shaper that the author wrote before this one.

Very good.

If you enjoyed this author’s other series then you will like this one too. It’s definitely worth the credit.

Ended too soon, can't wait to listen to book 2

The world building was great, I'm a sucker for a good power up ark and this book definitely delivered. Once the adventuring started I was hooked ready for the next mission. I also enjoyed sydries voice acting, definitely felt like an overly excited coatl. 10/10

An interesting and enjoyable read

I liked this book a lot, the coatl and my favorite, his excitement is infectious and the portrayal by the narrator was great. The magic is interesting, engaging and the story hit all the right beats. I’ll be continuing on and recommend this book highly. An interesting and enjoyable read

Good Balance of Slice of Life, Action, and Plot

The story has good pacing, character development, and world building. The level of wit and snark is just right.
