Really fun book!

Nicholas Sansbury Smith does what he has been able to do in all of his books, which is set a scene that is so imaginative and vivid that you forget that you are reading or listening to a book, and feel like you're in the moment seeing it happen.

Salvage System is an awesome system apocalypse litrpg with tons of fun characters, interesting situations, and hard hitting action.

Just looking at the cover art, you know that you're in for a fun time.

I would say if you like Dungeon Crawler Carl you'll probably like this book. Definitely a little more serious than DCC, but they share some elements that make them comparable without it at all being a copy (and from what I hear, Nick and Matt Dinnimin are buddies.)

I 100% recommend this book and although I've already read it, I've got the Kindle and Audible versions preordered too!

this world was so much fun

So I have to start off by saying this was my first LITRPG and I honestly thought all the stats would have been a distraction from the story, but it wasn't. The characters were well thought out and the world was detailed and a new concept for me. This was a entertaining and fun read and I can't wait for the next one to come out! Nick is the best and the narrator was perfect !!

great sci-fi with an interesting twist

for me this was a completely different take on Syfy. I enjoyed it very very much the characters are easy to enjoy and like and narrator does it great job.

Great story

This is a great story from a amazing story teller. He jumped genres and still hit it out of the park. Excitement throughout the whole book. Cant wait for book 2.

Very Orbs-like

I’m having such a hard time keeping track of this story. I dislike calling out such a very talented author but dude, this is weird.

What a hoot! Love it!

I'm fairly new to LitRPG but this is one of the best I've read yet! The main character is smart unlike a lot of the main characters I've read in other system apocalypse. It's also full of humor and solid action. This is a well written and well paced book that has a bit of everything, including great characters. I loved Bunny and Chuck! Can't wait for book 2 and it looks like the wait won't be long!

how fast mc falls for a woman

yeah, 1st book always romance and again woman bossy controlling, men being stupid as always.. always love always.. if I wanted romance in my books I'd read that crap. but I don't want romance in my books.. I dont need mc to love in the 1st freaking book.. mc being stupid at 1st agree we all would be or scared to death.. but not to grow instead romance? ewe

Michael Kramer's performance is spot-on!

'Salvage System' is a series starter. It is an excellent, quirky story that could only come from one of the most creative sci-fi writers of this generation, Nicholas Sansbury Smith. This book resembles the 'Galaxy In Flames' series more than 'Hell Divers'. So, open your imagination and enjoy the adventure. The audible book is performed by the talented and versatile Michael Kramer. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and look forward to the next System change. -Mr. Bill

Salvage, Build, Smash! Loved it!

NSS does it again! Having read all of his Hell Divers and many of his other awesome series, I’m pleased to say he did it again!

For those who haven’t read NSS, he has a gift for quick, visual action and characters you root for just as quick. His worldbuilding is always imaginative and throws dangers left and right.

I really enjoyed his Salvager class and how he used it to take on an Invasion of NYC by mysterious beings. Haunting as any in Hell Divers. Michael Kramer narrated with a matching tone to the gritty survival adventure you have in store.

I’m down with this all the way. Let’s go book 2!

I freaking love it

This is not typically my genre but I was hooked from the beginning. I love the characters, the fast-pace, witty banter and world-building. Michael Kramer is an ASTOUNDING narrator. He truly brings this story to life and adds comedy with his voice. Bunny is my favorite! This is different than what NSS typically writes but damn did he nail it. This one is a fun one! 10/10!
