Glad I tried

Im not a big big fan of cultivation... but this one was worth it.
Enjoyable story, not overly much cultivation/techniques/formation stuff (though still enough as it makes sense for the genre), likable MC, unique (as expected for the MC) power, cute companion, some funny characters - all you need for a nice listen.

and Zachary... oh mister... you can yell! ;D

Great box set

Solid cultivation novel. The MC is definitely on the OP side, which I like. He still has plenty of trials that he has to overcome. There was plenty of action and some cool fight scenes. I was surprised by some of the twists in the second book. I enjoyed the change of pace in the third book with the emphasis on alchemy. The narrator did a great job.

I lived this series so much I feel like it’s got another six books in the series maybe more the character development is awesome I really enjoyed it

This is a good series and listening to the first 3 gets me really riled up to keep listening.

All the detailed descriptions works as pointer/ highlighter of the story. And knowledge and understanding of Base concept gives it depth, and a engageing story. Listen to it, you will get my meaning forsure.

Top tier Wuxia

Sometimes it feels like there are million upon millions of Wuxia out there. Kind of like those harem adventure books and like those books most Wuxia stories are "meh" to brain dead "junk food" quality.

But I keep reading/hearing them because once in a while you get a gem buried amongst all refuse. This is one such gem.

I put this on the same level as Cradle, Defiance of the Fall, The Path of Ascension, ect. Definitely in my Top Ten Wuxia of all time.

It's alright

This book is your normal cultivation story. Nothing comes across as overly special as a series. z this is not to say it's not enjoyable I do in fact like it. It just doesn't grab me the same as books like the cradle series or those written by Tinalynge.

Intriguing story line!

Excellent collection to get you addicted to the story. Sort of a slow start for me, but then it really got going and I was hooked!
