Surprisingly Romantic Gem

From the description and the warnings I thought this would be an all smut no plot book, which is not a bad thing, but I was pleasantly surprised by how romantic this story was.

The story is spicy, complex and so romantic. I fell for Alexei right along with Eli and I liked both characters a lot. I like couples that wouldn't typically go together, and these two go together so well. I was so engrossed in the story, it went by too fast and ended too soon.

The narrators are perfect! Their voices are easy to listen to, I never found either of the narrators distracting. They did a great job in bringing these characters to life, and drew me in and kept me invested in the story.

I loved this book! The writing and the performances are terrific!

Possession at its finest

Amazing narrators and overall enjoyed the story. I love a good jock/ nerd romance.

Parts of the story were a little meh, like the overall bullying was a bit… idk.. not fitting I guess. But like I said it was a good short story and I enjoyed the narrators.

Short and Sweet

I really enjoyed this one. Joe and Liam did a great job. Always a fan of Joe's Russian accent. It was a quick 3 hr listen, but full of lots of emotional moments. You were definitely rooting for Alexei and Eli to have their HEA. 😍 Can't wait to listen to the rest in the series.

Loved this book!

I’ve been waiting to start this series and so glad I did! The audio and narration was amazing! I loved Alexi and Eli’s story and definitely plan to re-read. I’m looking forward to the rest of the series becoming available on audio.

Well paced novella

I’m not always a fan of novellas, sometimes they are too rushed. This was perfectly paced and I feel that we got the complete story of Alexei & Eli.
Eli is submissive yet confident and is so patient with Alexei who is discovering his true sexuality.
Joe Arden and Liam Dicosimo did a phenomenal job bringing Alexei & Eli to life.
I’m looking forward to reading the rest of this series.

powerful message

not only was it a great short listen, it allowed characters to bravely be themselves regardless of what was going on in their lives, no matter what others think and that love is just that, love. Eli proves that you should just be who you are; it's OK to be afraid while you discover yourself and he does this with Alexei. The narration was so well done that it made these characters and their situations feel very real!

Great narration!!

I listened to this one on audio and I devoured it so quickly! It is narrated in duet by Joe Arden and Liam Dicosimo. They both made this audiobook so easy and enjoyable to listen to! And I love how they brought Alexi and Eli's story to life. I'm a sucker for a good bully romance and this one did not disappoint! It's a pretty short book and a quick listen, but if you want a college MM bully romance, definitely check this out!

MM College Hockey Bully Romance

Savage Titan by E.V. Olsen is a MM college hockey romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Joe Arden and Liam Dicosimo. This is the first book in the North Shore Titans Hockey series.

This is the first book of E.V.'s that I have read and it won't be my last. I loved the chemistry between Alexei and Eli. I really enjoyed getting both of their points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

I can't wait for the next book in the series Brutal Titan to be released on audio so I can get Jackson's story.

Joe and Liam did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this book if you're looking for a MM romance, hockey romance, or bully romance.

Joe & Liam? Perfection!!

This was a short sweet and fun MM book! Joe and his Russian accent could make.me buy anything! And Liam did an excellent job performing as Eli! I loved this book and need more!!
