I loved how he integrated what our society has been turning towards into this series from a moderate standpoint

Great narrator and excellent action scenes

Sick battle descriptions. I am still reading (on book 3 right now, but the action is intense! I tried to go to sleep listening when they had a certain prison scene. I was so amped I couldn't sleep a wink that night! Also I only wanted to make a review because I found an audio recording error. In book 3 chapter 40, time stamp 5:54-6:05, you can hear the narrator reread the line in a different way. Super cool easter egg that I think is pretty rare.

Great for the most part.

I listen to audio books all day doing construction. Although some of stuff here is a bit cheesy like forcing nicknames getting towards the end makes me react nearly cringe physicaly with the modern real life culture wars and political space. Nearly quit listening, basically its like the pro woke DEI stuff I railed against for years suddenly rushing back. I dont understand how any one can look at it now and say wow, we sure improved race relations where just 20 years ago I truly think we were the closest to MLKs dream we might ever get too, today opening the door to political and corporate race hustlers who profit off our division. I stuck through it as hard is it was and have definitely found the over arching story pretty enjoyable, my favorite was towards the begining with Captain Keys, galatic bad ass fighting the galaxy for the aurvival of all its inhabitants which is 100% my jamb and Hushers? not sure how to spell role as captain was super cool although the molass of reliving the culture war crap made me want to stick my head in an oven.

Decent story with a few unexpected surprises

Good stories, couple hiccups in the performance where the narration got cut short at the end of a chapter. Probably due to editing. Otherwise I would recommend the story.
