gripping story

The universe and story that Sarah Hawke has created here is nothing short of a masterpiece. I have never been gripped by a story this hard. Sitting on the edge of my seat just dying to find out what happens next. the narration is fantastic with a wide range of different voices and accents, however I found Ash's voice to be irritating. The southern drawl just was not a great fit for a main character like that. it was jarring. I was able to look past that pretty easily though simply due to the fantastic story thats being told here. the depth of lore in this universe is very well thought out and it makes me hungry for more of her books. I HIGHLY recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good science fiction story. (Side note) I originally downloaded this series for the Harem and spicy content, however I find myself more interested in the story and the other stuff has lost my interest. THATS how good this story is in my opinion.

Great space opera

This is a great book with solid plot, world building and characters. It is plot driven and still has a quite a bit of spice. It's a harrem book, but each woman has depth of character rather than being a collection of cardboard cutouts. I definitely recommend it if you are looking for quite a bit of spice wrapped up in a quality story.

had some elements I really liked... I was definitely worth the credit for all 5. decent build up and fight scenes and space battles. nice narration.

I have to say if I could be the Major for a day it would be the greatest day, month, or year if not only my life but my existence. Sarah Hawke has me hooked for life. I will buy everything written to emerce myself into and experience incredible worlds and characters in incredibly complex environments and storytelling.
