Lots of mentions of rope of underage girls
No one mentions this. But there is a lot of r@pe throughout the book. Not one single mention. I returned it. I love horror and zombies and apocalypses. However while I know what humanity will come to with no rules, I do not need it spelled out like that. I’m an sa survivor. Wish someone had told me what I was about to listen to.

Well worth the credit
lots of repetition in the story. tons of characters to keep up with, and judging by how often he uses it the worst injury the author ever had was getting the wind knocked out of him and basically he overdramatizes that

Good but predictable
The thing I hate the most is this story takes place in a universe that had zombie movies and books before the outbreak. Too many references of characters that are fans of zombies, just make the 4th wall dynamics annoy me. I also hate the character Valeri...with a passion and it ruined my favorite storyline.
What I love about the books far outweighed my nitpicking. Multiple and interesting storylines and dark turns that will keep you on your toes. Makes you wonder how you would fare and the decisions you would make if SHTF

People's true natures show when law and order ends
Multiple stories some just to give life to the fallen who will cross paths with the living at a later time, others from all around the world. How would the world react to a Zombie outbreak? Are the Zombies really the evil of a society without law and order or is it the people? What would YOU become if there were no police or law and order to keep things civil and dare I say it "Human"? Are the monsters of a Zombie outbreak really the zombies or are the monsters the PEOPLE?

Wow, a great listen.
I love zombie stories and this series is one of the better one. I was surprised at the general lack of character immunity, and the over all quality of the story doesn't degrade despite the langth. Well worth the listen!

100% worth a credit
Very intense zombie apocalypse series. Early on it is hard to follow just because of the amount of survivors being followed from around the world. But once you start getting to know who is which group it gets easier. Be prepared for lots of jumps from one group to another l, usually at the most inopportune times. Lots of brutal violence, language, and sex. Not for the easily offended.

great deal very entertaining pretty realistic

interesting read/listen...
but it is a little hard to follow. you'll be with the main character and his group for a bit then all of a sudden you're following another character and his group. (when did that happen?)
The narrator is good but the break between groups is hardly noticed and it makes it harder to follow where the story is going. or who they are following.
Other than that it's a good book to listen to.
