Reeling from the conflict with the dwarves, Ken and several Haylon classes move to an event on the 28th floor of a dead branch of the dungeon to prepare for the raid.

While he’s busy training, his grandparents give him his first mission to assess and carry out on his own. Between Ken’s time of scouting out and investigating his target, he runs in with the other three schools and learns he’s not the only ace damage dealer. Pendulum, Trusk and the Royal Academy all have a student that’s a head above the rest of their peers.

The pressure is on, especially when one of them is associated with Ken’s latest assassination target.

Another great book

This series is so much fun and I look forward to each and every new book in the series!

The new narrator is incredibly frustrating

The cadence of the new make narrator makes no sense, he pauses at random intervals like he's really not processing what he's reading, it is incredibly annoying and almost made me drop the whole series. I also wish the author would stop using the phrase "turn them into a smear" dozens of times on each book. Other than that it's a fun ride

Probably the most spice of the series.

So Charlotte still only has one spicy scene from book three but Felin gets two in this book and the Princess gets two more. Don't worrie Charlotte has the most FTB Threesomes in the series. Other than my obsession with how little time Charlotte gets even with being the first girlfriend.

This book balances all the new and potential girls very well. Ken gets to do more assassin work and Ami gets a fake spice scene that definitely deserves an Oscar. We get to meet the other schools and the next generation of adventurers. I did like the damage check tournament at the end with the raid being next book. Enjoyable book and im going right into the next one.

Weakest Story Entry So Far…

Dungeon Diving 101 was a perfect entry for the series, and 102 and 103 really built it up and elevated the story and the characters, with 201 setting a really high bar with a new threat.

Dungeon Diving 202 suffers from the previous successes in the story. It doesn’t accelerate or really try to enhance the relationship with the class or university. Instead, it sidesteps them to further welcome a character that is not as entertaining as Harley the bard. Felin is not bad, but she’s not like as big of a harem conquest and romantic build as the others in Ken’s life. 202’s entry is the weakest in the story as it seems to just be a slight bump into the road to whatever comes next.

A nice nod to the anime fans out there. Trusk college is like an entire Anime and Comicbook convention. lots of shout out to the nerds, geeks, and otakus.
