When a towering alien monolith crashes onto James McGill's family farm, it triggers events that could spark a galaxy-wide war.

Things have gone bad among the colonies. Insurgents are building alien-hybrid armies and planet-killing weapons, threatening to upend the fragile balance of power in Province 921.

There's not only trouble in the province—the Core Worlds are igniting as well. The Mogwa have asserted claims upon the Imperial Throne, causing their rivals to move against them. Earth's Hegemony and the rebels are pulled into a conflict that could tear the galaxy apart.

Civil War looms, and McGill has only one chance to get ahead of it. Can he bluff, fight, and lie his way through a maze of shifting loyalties and dangerous enemies?

Find out in Rebel World, the latest entry in B. V. Larson's USA Today bestselling Undying Mercenaries series—modern military sci-fi at its finest.

Another Galactic adventure with James McGill. I love these books, but I wish there was more continuity between them. I wish there was more continuity between chapters, sometimes.

As fun as always, but a lot more plot holes than usual.

this reminded me of the old James McGill from some of the early books. I just love this series and can't seem to get enough so easy to put yourself in the shoes of some of these characters what a story fantastic

I can't wait for the next one. This one was a wave after wave of things I thought I would drown. I probably will have to re-listen to register it all. Can't wait to see where the leads ol James.

I still don’t get a connection to the plant people and now these new half human half trees I just don’t feel the connection to them.

I see that Miguel is becoming a little OCD about scuffs and scratches

Tired of the plant people

As always, this was a very engaging and entertaining adventure. Definitely recommend the listen/read. My only critique, and it's a minor one, was that there seemed to be almost back to back situational comparisons from time to time that felt a little copy/paste. Didn't hurt the overall story, just broke engagement for a second. I hope the stories keep coming, and never change the narrator, he probably doubles the quality of the read all by himself.

Great Continuation
