it's getting better.

it's was a better than the first 2. kinda excited for the next one.

I enjoy the characters & the new way magic & the Beyond work to help create a new story plot. Love it!!!

Got sucked in but…

The writer really took far far too much from other litrpg’s it hurts the over all experience. If you have not already been through the more popular ones this is not bad. The story it’s self works because it’s been done. The MC is trying so hard to be Jason from He Who Fights With Monsters that it’s a bit cringe tbh. However there again if you don’t know those books it won’t bother you as much. I would say if you are into litrpg and looking to kill time, you could do worse.

Author Doesn't piss me off

I enjoyed the story. While it felt like a lot less happened due to politics let there be no mistake that major events occurred.
Some Spoilers of the book. . .

I do find it a bit comical that the author made Peace out to be some kind of plotting mastermind but the second Will called her out as suspicious she initiated a mass unprovoked attack on a large group of people like that's the opposite of being well thought out. And the "Contractors" constant snickering at his supposedly genius at pulling puppet strings while never actually being in Will's presence and thinking he always has the upper hand just makes me laugh because it feels more like he is constantly sending people to give Will levels and power instead of doing anything meaningful. Even that little bit at the end of the book made is feel like they're just going to summon a big ol power up that Will is going to benefit massively from

a winner

I don't know why I waited so long to listen to this series and book. it's amazing from start to finish

much better flow than the first two

story is good. turns are good. the flow is better in this one though. nearly all of the women having a Russian accent is still present though.

Fun story but I have some gripes

So overall I think the story is fine but I felt this one was definitely a drop. My main complaint is that its pretty much just like a few hours of the MC Will playing billy badass without really much going on.

Its hard to put into words but at some point his antagonizing attitude to gods has gotten a tad annoying.

The assassination attempts, fine sure but like why even go to the summit. He obviously didn't need too, he didn't learn anything he didn't already know save a specific gods plot is running pretty thick but like. He would have learned that anyway by going into that specific dungeon if he just went with his elf friend.

Suppose I'm just a tad annoyed about the lack of interesting things happening.

Great book

This is another good one in the series. The progression of the main character is really done well. If I had anything to Dean, the book on, it would be the constant explanation of skills. I can’t wait until the next book comes out.

Diet Asano

Not a bad series so far but seems to be heavily inspired by HWFWM. Less sophisticated and character development but definitely not bad. MC doesn’t have enough flaws to be able to connect with so it is like a popcorn movie. Narration is solid. I find myself enjoying duel narration.
