Loved the second book. I feel like he needs to mature a bit more, but he is still young, so that is in due time. I can't wait until the next book!

Can’t wait

I started first book 6 months later the second book come out, which was a little too long. Can’t wait till the next one.

Great narration and character growth. Bueller.

Neil Hellegers knocked it out of the park again. I'm really enjoying this series! Nico continues to evolve as a dragon, and is learning to better understand his human dragon rider. I'd love us to spend a little more time with Cami, who is in danger of becoming a cardboard cutout. Once again, I'd have 5-starred this *just* for the narration, and the author's consideration in putting the stat sheets in their own, skippable chapters!

Love the innuendo about human mating rituals!

And the Bueller reference was <chef's kiss>.

Great story

This was an awesome story.. as good as the first one.. the battles were amazing. The visual wording draws you into the story and you can’t help but laugh and cry along with characters.. Nico kept true to his character the entire story and I can’t wait to read Book 3.

Nico is zactly like I imagine a dragon outta be!

Ohhhh man, I loved this book. It puts us right back into the action zactly where the last book ended! Nico is so unique as a dragon character. He's just like I imagine a dragon outta be, with an oversized ego, he's arrogant, and soooooooo prideful, and with a huge appetite/NEED for Gold. He's Secure in the knowledge that Dragons are the superior race. Really he's an individual that you would automatically hate (IRL) but in Nico case it's understandable. And with Cami his bonded dragonrider at his side (back) he's learning about life outside of his own self interest. He's learning about humans and the rest if the world. He's finally come realize that Cami is more than a pet to keep safe. Because as a team they can combine their magics and weapons together which makes 'em so much stronger then before they bonded. And you'll find plenty of action while they build up their stats, takin' out the trash monsters in the outlying towns.
So if you like litRPG's, and dragons your gonna love Nico and his bonded rider Cami! You need to grab this book with both fists! Get the audio version because Neil Hellegers makes a fine Dragon!!!
