As amazing as ever!

I love this series. Their books never disappoint! A lot of people don't like the side stories and world building but I personally really enjoy them. I feel that it fleshes out the world and what is happening in it very well. I was stoked about the clown pt2 bit. Was hoping that side story would come back into play. Just wish these books would never end. I am always do sad every time I check how much time is left because I know I will have to wait again for the next.

More of a gap book

This installment felt more like a filler book with very little forward movement in the story with the notable exception of one major death. The clown chapters were interesting and I do enjoy following this character plot. However, the overall lack of Erin and Ryoka in nearly the entirety of this novel was a disappointment and the story was worse off for it. I was also disappointed there wasn’t a continuation of the doctor storyline.

Credit to the author, I’ve listened to much harder to get through filler books in a series and usually much earlier on than book 5. Pirateaba has fast become one of my favorite authors and I’ll definitely be moving on to the next in the series.

Love this story ! The history added was great and the battle was awesome ! The story is growing and I can’t wait to listen to the best book !

a great book, a great reader

Ms. Parsneau does an amazing job with a wealth of characters. her ability to depict the more emotional moments in this book are note-worthy, and deserve applause. An excellent story, told by someone who knows how to tell a story.
