This audio book absolutely ROCKS!
Narrator Luke Daniels, from other audio books I have listened to have always been great. I haven't really posted alot of reviews from the over 100 audio books I have but this one deserves it. I'll just summarize it and spare you the boredom gibberish. From start to finish, it absolutely rocks. If your taste blends together with fantasy, magic, martial arts and a flare for high speed tempo close quarter combat the I would recommend this one for you. 33+ hours of entertainment? Can't beat that for one credit. It has a good starting background, building up more and more with each chapter to the ending was really well thought out and written. In a type of David Vs. Goliath blending of a boundless determination of one person to persevere through the toughest challenges, it really does in a way..... make one person relate to any one's normal life as it is today. Finding ways to overcome obstacles and never giving up.....now that is the SPIRIT!!!!! Bravo.
Anyways... I can honestly say, from my own viewpoint. It was well worth the price and time to listen to and probably like other audiobooks I've purchased like KOBAN series, The Reaper series, Star Force series and others.......I will definitely listen to this AGAIN and AGAIN. It is just so worthwhile and entertaining.

Absolutely amazing!!!
This book is a work of art! Every character is beautifully constructed and unique, and great dialogue and chemistry between the characters. fight scenes were descriptive without it being TOO descriptive and as always Luke Daniels brings to life every character with feeling and talent. I LOVE THIS BOOK and I cannot wait for the next one in the series!

A fast paced, imaginative read
A great cast of characters, lots of action, with a mix of sci-fi weaponry that was well done. A few spots were a bit tedious with really long, overly detailed fight scenes, but otherwise a strong storyline.
