We’re on book 14 of the main story and it’s every bit as fresh and awesome as book 1. I’m 100% hooked and if you like military sci-fi you could be too. This is the best in the genre.

Very little happens considering the pace of the book

I get that you need to lay the groundwork for what is a complex story. But the almost total focus on the first two days of the invasion of a planet by the “new” legion gets a little boring. A lot more story progression could have occurred during this novel. I’m assuming that some of the new characters will become important down the track. Hopefully the next book isn’t far away as I read all the back story and side story books ages ago. Pick it up fellas.

More plot than you think

sure we didn't get an advance of many of the current plot lines, but I don't know if some of the listeners paid attention. The current storyline involving the main characters didn't move, but the events building around them sure did. I don't want to spoil anything but I felt like people are just wanting a character storyline and not a world based one and I disagree.

amazing as always but.... that cliff hanger ending was just cruel and uncalled for

What else is there to say. This one will go down as one of my top 5 of the series. Can’t wait to see if the next one will top it.
