Love Cultivation

I had seen reviews of this book before I started it that it could definitely use some work, but overall I enjoyed although I agree that it is not the best Danmei I’ve read. Though I am also not that picky when it comes to them because I am happy with what I can get.
It was the first audiobook I’ve ever listened to and I really enjoyed it. The narrator did an amazing job and it kept me interested the whole time. Overall was great and I’ll definitely be listening to the other two books in this series.

From fear to trust to Love

At first I felt I could not follow, but the story was amazing. And I love how kind yet assertive Xiao is.
The story reminds me of Beauty and the Beast but oh so very different.

But I also like how the author has Xiao come to understand some of the feelings he discovers as he travels and how though weak he refused to let others push him around.

It was surprisingly good

It was a good setup to the world and power system. Im hoping we get a lot more more romance as the story develops.

BL Cultivation

I enjoy danmei and cultivation novels, this felt slow to start and the characters still need fleshing out at the end of this book. I kind of thought our MC’s reactions to ML’s actions were kinda lackluster. I’m willing to listen to the next book to see if it improves!
