Great Story. Female Narrator is Awesome. Grandpa voice for lead male is off putting

Had to buy the book and sync this. The story is a good one and I wanted to know what would happen next. The female narrator is really really good adding inflection and emotion. When she spoke I felt like I was there! but the male narrator…boy that was hard to get past. It honestly sounds like someone’s grandpa - soooo not sexy. It made the scene in the fairy land sound gross! Uck…anyhoo, read those parts and you’ll stick with it…on to book 2

Beware

Great imagery and character development but this is a cliffhanger. I, for one, listen/read this genre for escape. Not having closure is counterproductive.

I really love this book and I like the girl main character she is so funny smart ass. I really understand where her mind is at . cant wait for the next one because they do leave you at a cliffhanger.
