Loved!!!

This is my first series by this author and she didn't disappoint! The first book was hard to get into, but the story definitely picks up. So many twists and turns! I really enjoyed the pere cheney bits because I grew up and still live and work by there. Lots of locals have story's of encounters with the witch or other scary things plus it really is creepy out there so it fit the storyline perfect for me.

Great story, well written characters. Had me hooked early and crying near the end. Will definitely check out more books by this author. When it comes to audio books, the narrator(s) really make or break the experience for me. These two are great.

Twist turns suspense, heat and comedic relief

Great characters, a sexy Alpha who is too serious, hot red head with a chip on her shoulder. You can’t put this down . The acting is good too ! They actually act out the characters!

keeps you on the edge of your seat. wish there was more books. author did a good job of keeping the reader engaged

Good Series

First the FMC was the most infuriating that I have heard in a long while. The truth can be in her face and she still doesn’t understand. Questions that should have been asked in the beginning were not asked, like who was my mother? She was told not to let anyone have her blood. What she did should have been a deal breaker. I never understand why these women who have no idea about the magical world think they can take charge and inevitably have to be saved. Don’t get me wrong I really enjoyed this series, but Savi’s shenanigans had me weary. I look forward to reading more from this author.

Gripping Story

I enjoyed the story itself. The language was a bit excessive to my taste. Some fit, but a lot of it felt like fillers. The story moved at a good pace and the foreshadowing rolled well into the final battle(s).

The male narrator didn't fit well. It felt like he was reading a case file from dragnet. The was no diversity among the supporting characters' voices. I had a hard time with some scenes because it was hard to tell the differences between which characters were speaking.

Otherwise, it was a fun "read".
