Who would have thought that a mysterious and powerful man who chose to go by the name Mephisto would be more than meets the eye? I did! And yet I still wasn’t prepared for what I discovered about him.

He’s a wildcard. But with so many people wanting me dead, I need all the friends I can get.

My life is quickly becoming a cornucopia of crap, and I don’t need any more enemies or any more trouble. Yet, somehow, I manage to get both when the most powerful vampire in the city hires me for a job.

At first, it seems simple enough. All I have to do is negotiate the acquisition of a weapon that can kill his kind faster than a stake to the heart - without betraying my client or pissing off a vampire, especially the Master of the City.

Of course, being the overachiever that I am, I unintentionally betray my client and piss off the Master of the City.

Now I have a mere 72 hours to fix my mistakes, or the Master will claim my life as payment for my failure. And he’s made it clear there won’t be any renegotiations.

We finally met her father and I love him. I don't want to give away spoilers, but this is DEFINITELY an AMAZING addition to the series. It started off on a completely different fun adventure for our Erin and the ending was deep and dealt close to home. That is one thing I love about this author, the seemless way the story flows. Now I previously read the first 2 books in the series and put it down for a while because I was in love and wanted to wait till a few more came out. So now I'm re reading and this is the first time reading this book and I finished it in a day and a half I just couldn't put it down!!!

To be clear, i received this Audio Book free of charge from the Author in exchange for an Honest Review.

I have enjoyed this series from its beginning. It, like McKenzie’s other series, is well planned and executed as a story line. In this installment, We pickup where we left off with the last. Erin is still fighting for both her survival and her happiness in life. She moves closer to accomplishing both, but still has a ways to go. From a cocky Shift Alpha and Vampires with a temper to witches with a death wish and family secrets revealed, this book is chocked full of action, twists, and turns guaranteed to keep you enthralled
Khristine voices each character in a way that helps you not only determine who is speaking, without a name, but in a way that helps the listener to feel the emotion and power behind each word. Between the story and the talented narration, You won’t regret continuing this Raven Cursed journey with the rest of us.

A great continuation!

I absolutely hate when the story ends where a huge unknown is. I legitimately wish that they would just make the story longer and then continue the series on in another way. I really liked this book up until where it ended. If feels like a cheap continuation to the next book. I wish that went the way but I like the series so much that of course I'm going to continue so maybe they got what they want.

I hate the cliffhanger
