Intriguing

Intriguing from start to finish which caught the interest from my daughter only listening for 5 minutes

1 narrator feeling like multiple

While the story felt rushed, it was still a really good story to listen to! I was initially disappointed it was only one narrator but she did an absolute beautiful job trying to separate the characters voices! Was a good listen to with medium 🌶️ level. Which I could appreciate as I would listen to this at work and didn’t have to skip crazy 10 minute 🌶️ “scenes”. There’s a bit of easy to spot foreshadowing but the character wasn’t entirely blind to them like how some MC’s tend to be in other series. I found myself laughing and shouting numerous times through out this series & just getting lost in the underworld.

Loved 😍 it!!! It was a really good story. I enjoyed itthroughly! the twists and turns were awesome!!

Slow and dry at first

it took almost the entire first book for me to feel engaged, and even then I didn't feel super into it. I did finish it, but only because I paid for it. this is one of those that I'll likely not reread.

performance was solid, but the story was meh.

Good story on supernatural conflicts between factions

the conflicts between the supernatural factions and the person reading the book to us. I enjoyed the content and the issues between family members. and the ending.
