Publisher's summary

Pebble Cove is not the sleepy coastal town Rosemary remembers from her childhood. Ghosts are everywhere. But apparently only she can see them.

When Rosemary Woodmere inherits her estranged grandmother's Victorian teahouse, she doesn't expect to also inherit a ghost named Asher from the 1920s.

Things get weirder for Rosemary.

Her grandma was supposedly murdered.

A body has washed up on the beach and the police suspect her in the man's murder.

She's trying to navigate her newfound ability to talk to ghosts.

And she doesn't even know the first thing about tea.

Rosemary's experience as a librarian hasn't prepared her to solve a murder, but everyone around her is steeped in suspicion and she has to find the truth before someone else ends up dead.

Nice start to a new series

After listening to Bk. 1, I will be purchasing the next in the series. Characters will draw you into an interesting haunted tea shop. The Narration is done well and reads to the adult.

Great New Series

Rosemary is a great new protagonist. She has inherited a tea shop but knows nothing about tea. Now she sees and talks with a ghost! As if that isn't enough, there is a body. Rosemary and Asher have their work cut out for them. I look forward to the next book.

A great cozy mystery

ook one in an exciting new series from Eryn Scott and I could not wait to dive in to it. I love stories about small towns, add in mystery and a few ghosts and I knew I was in for an entertaining read with Steeped in Suspicion set in Pebble Cove.

Rosemary Woodmere inherits her a Victorian teahouse from her estranged grandmother and although she has been able to see ghosts for years, she is surprised when it appears she has also inherited a ghost called Asher.

Rosemary is shocked to learn of her inheritance, after all she is a Librarian, what does she know about running a teahouse? Determined to sell the place she visits Pebble Cove to the affairs in order, but what happens when she begins to suspect that her grandmother was murdered? The more she learns, the more danger she is in and Rosemary leans on the spirits to guide her.

There were numerous twists and turns within the story and I found Rosemary easy to relate to and I liked her. I really enjoyed this cozy mystery and am looking forward to seeing where Ms. Scott takes the series.
The narration by Jennifer Jill Araya was entertaining and I enjoyed the voices she used. It added to my listening pleasure. I was given this free review copy of this audio book at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

good start to the series

Rosemary Woodmere, a librarian, inherits her estranged grandmother's Victorian teahouse near the Oregon coast. While visiting the teahouse, she meets a ghost named Asher from the World War one era.

Asher tells her her grandmother was murdered.
A body has washed up on the beach and the police suspect Rosemary in the man's murder.
She can’t leave until the murder is solved.

I liked that 25 year old Rosemary gained confidence and has decided to stand on her own two feet without alienating her mother. Rosemary discovers a few new friends.

I was pretty sure who the killer was. I just didn’t know the depth of the deceit.

I am looking forward to the next installment. I listened to this and have books 2 & 3 on audio. The narrator did a very good job and will listen to more books by this narrator.

Welcome to Pebble Cove

A new cozy mystery series from Eryn Scott! This is her third, and introduces Rosemary and the small town of Pebble Cove.

Rosemary has inherited her grandmother's house, which is also a tea shop. She was estranged from her grandmother and doesn't expect to do more than come to town for a short time and maybe sell the house. Her plans change though when she meets a ghost, Asher, and also tries to find who murdered her grandmother.

I love the Pepper Brooks and Stoneybrook Mysteries series, and I think this one will be another favorite. Rosemary is a smart, caring heroine who is adapting to a lot of change in her life. I liked the way she befriended Asher and stepped outside her comfort zone during the case.

Her ability to see ghosts also adds a fun twist to the story. I thought the way they were introduced and their powers and limitations were well done. Asher was funny and kind, and I am looking forward to learning more about him as the series progresses!

This, like Eryn's other series, translates well to audiobook. The narration was well done and I really liked getting to listen to Asher and Rosemary's story on audio.

Love it.

Another great book from Eryn Scott. This one is about Rosemary Woodmere, who inherits her grandmothers house and tea shop. She goes there to Pebble Cove to sell the tea shop but runs into trouble. She learns she can see ghost. Then there are the murders that the law enforcement say are suicide and one heart condition. She meets a ghost named Asher and he is the one who said her grandmother did not die of heart condition. But how can you tell the cops that a ghost told you.

The story kept me very entertained and i love the characters. I most definitely will read more of this series. I was gifted this book exchange for an honest review.

The narrator, Jenner Jill Arya does a fantastic job with voices.

A cup of tea with a little paranormal slipped in!

Eryn Scott is at it again with this delightful new story which takes place at Pebble Cove, a sleepy little town nestled on the Pacific coast. So if you're a fan of Eryn Scott or just cozy mysteries in general, you're gonna love this one! Eryn's writing is tight and she holds her cards close, soooooooo you'll definitely be surprised at the end! I believe it's my favorite book yet!
I for one loved the way she slipped a bit of paranormal into the book, just making it seem richer! I'm definitely looking forward to the next book!
As always Jennifer Jill Araya's voice performance added to the list of everything right with the book!
Oh and I'll have a cup of orange pekoe tea with milk, sugar, and a touch of cardamom... thank you!
