Kandi Steiner did a great job with Noah and Ruby Grace’s frenemies to lovers story. Although I enjoyed it, I feel it needed more character development and background information, especially in regards to Noah and his father’s death because that’s such an integral part of the whole story and since it’s unexplained makes the story disjointed. I also think we needed to know more about the motivations of her fiancé and his political ambitions which were not revealed or even alluded to until somewhere near the very end of the story. I liked that the moral of the storyline was to strive to overcome your fears and don’t be afraid to be yourself. Both narrators were new to me and provided a wonderful listening experience with their expressive performance. David Vaughn’s voice made me swoon over Noah and his thoughtful gestures and heartfelt emotions. Laurie Catherine Winkel’s voice was perfect for Ruby Grace’s young age and the sweetness of her giving spirit. Overall this was a good story with a small town feel and sexy undertones.

Would definitely recommend. Full of everything you'd expect from Kandi S. You won't be disappointed.

I love this small town love story.
Kandi again create a whole new world, from Noah and his family, Ruby Grace and Betty.

I can’t wait to read next book from the series.

My favorite part of this book was that Noah showed her how to grow and be who she wanted to be on her own not tied to someone else.
