one of the cutest small towns!

wow wow wow. this book was everything I wanted and more! I am so freaking proud of Kat and the growth of her writing. I love a small town and add in the best friend's brother. chefs kiss. this was such an emotional read for me. there were so many perfect moments of this book, and there was also so much growth that needed to happen for the mcs. this story alternates back and forth from the past to the present. I usually don't like this much back and forth, but for this one I loved it. It really gave you the whole picture of how we got to where they are today. for me, it really helped answer a lot of questions about her hesitation. there was so much hurt between both of them from the past, and it was really emotional reading them grow from that and how they felt in those moments. the title for this book is absolute perfection and fits the story so well. the ending had me weeping. all the tears. also can we please talk about that dirty mouth that Cade has?! holyyyyyy heck. I had to take breaks while reading/listening to this one. Kat's spice hits different. I also loved the interaction with Pippa and Camden. It makes me so excited to jump into their book! HIGHLY recommend this one if you love a small town!!!

Marigold and Cade have a love story that stands out. This book will make you cry, give you butterflies, and leave you speechless.

Beautiful!

I loved this audiobook! The narrators were amazing and story was beautiful. I highly recommend this audiobook. It is definitely worth the credit or purchase.

A little too raunchy for my taste.

A good story with the exception of the very graphic love scenes. When will authors figure out that less is more! You can still write a beautiful love story with awesome love scenes that don’t make some readers have to fast forward.

I’ve read/listened to many books by Kay Singleton but so far I think this is my absolute favorite!! I LOVED it!!! It is amazing and awesome and realistic and heartwarming, thank you for this!!!

I generally don’t leave 5star reviews but this story brought me to tears. It was well written and beautifully performed. Great job!

Soooo good!

I loved the story soooo much! The spice had a wide variety, The premise of the story and how it all came together towards the end was worth all the happy/sad tears. Highly recommend. Im sure I’ll be thinking of this one for a long time! Can’t wait for the next one to be released on audible! This book needs to be hyped up on TikTok. Better than the last 4 TikTok genius books I’ve read. Go get this one! You’ll be sooo happy that you did!

Narration was great, but the story missed

Try as I might, I absolutely could not connect with this story. Cade was the most difficult for me. Some of his behaviors just felt like a massive red flag. Even with the understanding of why he did what he did, he was sometimes downright mean to someone he claimed to be his everything. Just rubbed me wrong and kept me from fully enjoying the story. Narration was great though. !

Amazing love story!!!

CJ and Aaron could read a dang phone book from 1980 and I would swoon. So stinking good!! This book has EVERYTHING you need and want. The love story between Cade and Mare will just melt your heart and will leave you wanting more. Cannot wait to read the second book in this series.

Too long of a “love story “

This was a long drawn out story. The lead male character was so frustrating. It seemed he only wanted her when nobody else was around. He’d say one thing but would want another. I think the story could have been better if the story had been shorter. It just didn’t flow very well.
