Beautiful and Heartbreaking

This book is a beautiful and heartbreaking tale of two people driving across the US trying to find what makes them happy. I love the characters in this book. They were brave and weak at the same time and so well written that I wanted to put my arms around them and tell them everything would turn out fine. The narration on this book was even good. One of the best books I've ever listen to. I will be listening to it again. I wanted to start from the beginning and listen through it again after it finished. Great book.

Depression?

Depression.... has so many different meanings to different people. I Can’t claim to have understood how deep and dark it can be to some people. I’ve had different milder levels of depression but never understood the deeper debilitating levels, especially when everyone and everything surrounding the individual is great or at least normal. This story gave me a new understanding. Thank you! Loved this story!

I was not expecting this.

I honestly will read anything that Kandi Steiner writes. After reading A Love Letter To Whiskey, I absolutely love her. I was not expecting what I got from this book. I went in to this book completely blind and was very impressed with what I got. The characters that have just met and decided to start this road trip together and then falling for each other through trauma and deep conversation just had me completely engulfed and wanting to know more. I highly recommend.
