Publisher's summary

Will the truth set her free...or keep her forever a prisoner of the past?

When Charity ran away with the Romany Gypsies, she left everything behind: her name, a way of life constrained by English rules, the punishments her cruel father meted out in the name of God, and the young man who made it all bearable. Certain things she can’t hide, even in wild, remote Wale: a secret longing for the ease of English life, the wisps of faith that still linger, and her reaction to a handsome face she thought she’d never see again.

Daniel Hayward would recognize that voice anywhere and that unruly, copper-colored hair, as well as those piercing blue eyes. But what is Charity Weston doing wearing Gypsy garb in Wales...when she died years ago?

For a moment, the grief that never quite left him is transformed into joy. But the walls between them now are built from bricks of culture clashes, bitter memories, and fear. To find his way, Daniel will have to trust as never before that God will guide their hearts home at last.

Does he love the girl she was...or the woman she has become?

This poignant Regency Inspirational romance will fill your heart with love and hope.

Seeking Charity by Josie Riviera

Such sweet and lovely read or listen. This is the first time I've ever read something with gypsies and it was really enjoyable. I love that this book gave me a glimpse of gypsy life and the recipe at the end of the book is definitely on my menu list!

The narration by Tessa Peterson was also really good. :) I look forward to hearing more of her narration.

Great Read

Seeking Charity (Seeking #2) was a good read by Josie Riviera. Charity ran away with the Romany Gypsies and left everything behind. Although she ran away, she secretly longs for the ease of English life. Daniel Hayward recognized Charity’s voice immediately. But he never though he would see her again since she died years ago. I enjoyed reading this book an cant wait to read more by the author.

Captivating!

Charity Weston ran away from her home in London, away from her father's abuse. She joined a Romany Gypsy caravan and left behind her identity but also Daniel Hawood, her best friend. She's content to live the life of the Gypsies, but there are things about her culture that she's missing, especially her very best friend. He and his sister Penelope go to Wales to visit James and Valentina Colchester, he has no idea that Charity and the Romany Gypsies are on his land. When he hears her voice, he's taken right back into the past and there's no doubt that the voice he hears is Charity's. What joy she feels and, yet, there's fear because she doesn't dare venture back to England and her abusive father. An uncomfortable part of this story is Daniel's sister, Penelope. She is the perfect example of the prejudice and distrust of everything Roma, including Charity. But Daniel makes his feelings known to Penelope, and he convinces Charity that he wants to be together for the long run. This is a sweet and sexy story that ends in a HFN that fairly calls for an epilogue!
The narration is very well done by Tessa Petersen. Her dynamic voice used just the right pace and intonation to bring each of the characters to life.

Seeking Charity

I would like for this to have been a full length novel and I have really enjoyed the other books in this series, but it was still just as good.

Finding love

Charity has to run away from her father & joins the gypsies. Then her love from years ago discovers her. A very nice, sweet story of finding love again. Enjoyed Ms. Petersen's reading of the story also. I received a free copy from the author. This is my voluntary opinion.
