The chaos of addiction and love
This was an outstanding book that depicts a roadblock that is too frequently an issue in relationships. The love story is heartfelt and emotional in such a real way. The difficulty of being in love with a person in active addiction and also with being that person are so vividly portrayed here that this book is a page turner from the onset. The struggles and victories are alternately frustrating and poignant. The rocky journey that Eva and Rosa travel is worth taking. Above all this is a story of perseverance, love, and communication. Nicole Blessing did a great job of bringing the characters that Emma Nichols created in The Hangover to life. I highly recommend this book. I am glad that I got the opportunity to experience it through audio.

In the second book of the series, Eva had fallen in love with an Italian surgeon. However she continues to have trouble controlling her drinking. Can she survive and turn her life and relationship around?
Lauren and Anna continue to reconnect and heal their romance while Lauren must deal with an emergency in Corsica. The conclusion is a brilliant one with another perfect performance. Recommend series.
