Terrible narrator, good story

The narrator's reading was monotone, it was difficult to tell the difference between characters as she switched, and every sentence ended with the same tone. it was very difficult to not fall asleep or completely lose track of the fact that she was still talking.

The story was just good enough to put up with it to finish the book.
