I will be talking about spoilers Fyi so I would stop reading if you don't want any.

The banshee ritual in the beginning was an incredible experience. I could feel chills run down my whole body when they all started to scream

In this story the Exarch dose battle with a Harold of khorne and looses her life. I could except her loosing her fight to a greater demon of khorne such as a bloodthirster or demon prince but not something as low as a Herold. It just feels very uniformed and taking the usual "Eldar loose" route when it comes to games workshop and their writing. It's always a tragedy and not a victory for the Eldar.

That being said the voice acting and ambiance of the experience was incredible.

OK, but not great

They tried to make a story that showed the life of a howling banshee, and tried to use the death of someone and the sorrow that people feel in that situation as the hook to make you feel for the characters. Good try, but it just didn't seem to have enough to really pull me in.

Great story but the audio quality needed cleaning

I really enjoyed this short story. It was told well and the performers did a great job. Unfortunately, the ambient noise overpowered their voices a lot in the story. I realize combat is extremely noisy and chaotic, but it didn't need to be that level in this book. I would have 5 starred this if not for that.

Full cast euphoria

Holy moly I’ll say it again - these are too short! They’re so good it’s criminal. The music, the atmosphere - the directional audio (you’ve gotta listen with earbuds / a headset). The whole cast leans into the delivery and performance, it’s so good. Definitely recommend these for a short listen! And re-listen!

Aeldari

Gives good insight on the tactics and philosophy of the howling banshees. I enjoyed the voice acting and sound effects.
