Collection of absolutely bangers

I always enjoy Jonathan Keeble's narration, so I was looking forward to that in this collection. He did great as always (though his volume range is not ideal for listening while drifting off to sleep, which is my primary way of consuming these books).

this collection of short stories wraps up several other Horus Heresy threads that I didn't expect to follow up on and they're all very satisfying in my opinion. this is not one that I would recommend listening to out of order. you should wait to enjoy it after reading the books that came out before to fully appreciate them.

awesome story and all if the short stories made it even better. Would recommend only if you know everyone involved with the Hersey...

Some good moments but mostly drudge.

The moments with Malcador were top notch, I guess I should praise BL writers for their attention to detail covering stuff that should in many cases have been covered twenty or more books ago. Thankfully we’re getting it now, what would I have done if I didn’t know the details of the space wolves sent to observe the Night Lords?

Shadow War that the Sigilite has with the traitors.

Only issue I have is I hoped this would’ve been in chronological order instead of released date for each story.

liked the stories with liken in them. it fleshes out more of him which is nice my favorite character by far.
