GREAT WAY TO OPEN CONVERSATION UP WITH YOUR SPOUSE

Lots of things we already know, but have forgotten. Interestingly, there were a few things I didn't even know about myself and I'm excited to try it with my husband. As an older couple, it was funny to listen to some of the awkwardness of younger couples experiences and even the verbage of the narrator. I found myself giggling a lot. But I still liked it and found that there were good views for both male and female on every subject. Best part is that my husband and I have started more openly talking about it all. we enjoyed going through the questions together in Chapter 13. And I can say that the last few weeks have been a little more fun and exploratory. :)

I was married for 18 years to a man I could never please. now, 6 years later, I am embarking on a new marriage with a loving, Godly man. This book was recommended by our premarital counselor. I knew most of what Leman was telling me, but not in this new context. His words of wisdom and instruction were heard with a whole new mindset. I was a bit apprehensive about having sex with "someone else" and now that I am "old" (50). But he calmed all those fears and helped me to get excited about this new relationship. He also confirmed that the way my new husband and I have been treating eachother is good and we are well on our way to a satisfying and God pleasing relationship that will last.
