slam dunk. Yetide is masterful in her reading of Nnedi's books. And Nnedi writes such rich novels Ursula Le Guin would be proud.

cant wait for next installment!!

although there are a couple of moments when voices blend together, It doesn't get in the way of the story! I enjoyed it so much. this book was challenging and I'm still wrapping my head around the universe and the timeline Nnedi has created and is creating in their books. I can't wait to see what happens next.

good book also

I like this one also. But in my opinion I think the first book was better. Still willing to buy a third one it come out with one.

Exhilarating and intensifying!

This novel, the second and Siri was just phenomenal! The continuation of the first story, integrated with the new storyline, and the narration was Jess splendid and delightful! I really enjoyed the fact that each character had their own dynamics and it was Xpress by the reader so vividly.

Love this book!!!! Best Audio so far

The narrator dose a great job with reading this book. It is exciting, different voices and accents are created for the characters. You feel like you can actually envision the story. Would recommend listening to both books.

Loved it. I want more. I wish the series was finished, I can't wait for the next installment.

Folklore re-imagined

I absolutely loved this second book in this series, The writing was imaginative, clear & informative to many the many cultures found in Nigeria. I have listened to both books three times so that I didn't miss anything & was engaged each time. you found yourself rooting & holding your breath for each character as they faced their own adventures. I soooooooo recommend this book to anyone intrested in adventure, and possibilities that run wild in your mind.🤗

FANTASTIC!!

I have been in a choke hole ever since I listened to Book One.. Akata Witch. I love how the characters are developing and how they seem to be ‘growing up’ before my eyes This seeio(this far) is very well written. The narrations are superb!

Akata warrior

I just discovered this awesome author and her tales of Sunny. I love, love this series!! So much more than the Harry Potter series, this is the black version, but with much more flavor for both children and adults!! This is a series that children with Brown skin can identify with as well as realize that we belong, even in fantasy, too a world of our own imagination as well!!

It left me wanting to pick up with more. come on audible!! There are tons of voracious black and Brown readers. Let's see more from this author and more authors like her!! Well done, story, characters and narrator!
