I have no financial training whatsoever. However, this book makes the process dummy proof and transparent. I am a doctor operating my own practice and the concepts and skills discussed in this book will help me gain and implement a foundation of financial literacy and applied financial savvy. It could not have been more useful or packed with better content. Only the essential stuff is included in this GEM!

This book is perfect for ones that want to learn finance, economy, and stocks. Great for an absolute beginner. This book really helps be to have better understanding when I research through websites like investopedie. I was very confused the first time at investopedia and couldn't understand a whole lot. Financial Statements by Financial IQ Series is - as says on the front cover of the book - "Basic bookkeeping & finance Principles, Tax accounting and management for business", and does just that brilliantly. The author manages to make rather difficult business concepts palpable to the laymen reader. The book is also well suited for those with a higher business acumen because the author attacks many financial statement and business fundamentals in a feasible way that serves as good reiteration and study. I feel that my recent statements portrayed accurate objectivity about what many consider a top tier book of its kind. Personally, i love how the text was very flexible (financial statements and number nuances weren't jammed in like they could have been), it flowed very well chapter-to-chapter, and though surprising it was pleasantly conversational.

One of my FAVORITES!

I have been in business for several years as a medical doctor and currently have just finished law school. This book helped me in both of these endeavors. I recommend this book for beginners. Very easy to understand, but its extreme simplicity many times becomes a hurdle. You definitely want to finish the book in two or three afternoon and then immediately move to another more detailed book.

I am so glad I read the reviews and went with the flow and bought this book. I have taken accounting courses during my MBA and this book has really help simplify some of the most complex concepts. I am refreshing some of my financial breakdown skills and this book is incredible. Sad to say this book has made breaking down income statements and etc better then my college professors! Great read! Good Fast Information

This is as clear a presentation of the subject as you will ever find. Assumes you know next to nothing about financial statements, clear, concise, thorough, easy to read presentation....excellent!

This audible will help to give a good direction.

Another book I bought to take a bookkeeping test. Simple to understand. So many companies require testing for jobs, and as usually, have questions, you rarely use in accounting. This book provided one of the best systematic synopses of accounting for non-accountants I have ever encountered. It is also good, if you need a some basic accounting for your business.

Fairly well comprised book

Greatest insomnia preventative ever! Actually, a fairly well comprised book for a rather dry subject. The case studies are interesting and chapters are well composed and to the point. Each chapter includes plenty of test applications and questions to help you learn the material. I'm glad Audible offers a book rental, as the list price was way more than I'd ever want to spend on a book like this.

Best one I've read so far

Great book to learn from zero or to refresh key accounting concepts, including test for the CPA Exam. Easy to understand. Based on practical examples, following a storyline. Thus, it is carefully written and presented, resulting in a very didactic resource, just designed to Bookkeeping and Finance Principles, Tax Accounting & Management for Business. I do recommend it.
