Publisher's Summary

We put an end to the war with the Dark Faction, but still humanity's problems are far from over. More than half of the game's promised tong of safety has elapsed, and yet humankind is no closer to forming a unified front. We've just begun building one of the 12 planetary shield generators necessary to give Earth complete protection, but we don't have enough construction materials, players, or time. Should we ask the parallel magocratic world for help? After all, an invasion from outer space would hurt them just as bad. The mages, though, have plenty of problems of their own.

What options does Gnat even have here? All he can truly count on are his own strength and his personal Relict faction. Should we put all our eggs in one basket and look for help in deep space? Might technology from ancient, long-vanished races allow humanity to grow strong enough to turn back the onslaught before it's too late?

Finally they changed the narrator!

Thank you so much for swaping out that terrible narrator for this much better one. I would say that the reason this book isn't up with The Land and other great LITRPG books was the narrator. I mean this is a very uniue series. This is one of the few that are a space/fantasy LITRPG. I for one think that this series so far has proven that it is the best sci fi based LITRPG series so far. Keep up the good work and I am super excited to see what happens to Nat next.

New Narrator, Great Story

Neil Hellegers is one of my favorite narrators, and he does an excellent job with this book. In spite of how jarring it usually is to switch narrators, I honestly didn't notice much because he always does such a great job, and I've listened to many, many books read by him. I think he did a much better job of highlighting the humor in these situations, and the craziness of the plots for this series.

Overall, I really enjoyed this book, and listened to it almost straight through: I had trouble putting it down at all.

Awesome!!!

Atamanov has written another wonderful novel in this amazing space/lit rpg/alt reality saga.

The series picks up where the last one ended and continues the adventures of Gnat.

Cliffhanger ending leaves me wanting more!!!

4 out of 5 stars on performance since the audio seems different then the other novels, slightly lacking in quality. Additionally, the reader didnt use the same tone that he used in previous books for certain characters.

Story ia still 5 stars!!! When is the next one coming?

Still going strong

It is still great, still has moments where you feel all is lost and the solution isn't some OP something or other but amazing and realistic circumstances. Even though he is strong I really like that he isn't a murderhobo. Great writing, I just wish there was more.

Another great installment

Once again I was transported into a rich and diverse world. The change of narrator had me wondering what prompted the change.
