Publisher's Summary

The Seven Levels of Communication tells the entertaining and educational story of Rick Masters, who is suffering from a down economy when he meets a mortgage professional who has built a successful business without advertising or personal promotion. Skeptical, he agrees to accompany her to a conference to learn more about her mysterious methods. Rick soon learns that the rewards for implementing these strategies are far greater than he had ever imagined. In seeking success, he finds significance. This heartwarming tale of Rick's trials and triumphs describes the exact strategies that helped him evolve from the Ego Era to the Generosity Generation. This book is about so much more than referrals. This is about building a business that not only feeds your family, but also feeds your soul.

Decent content, few gems, but tough to listen.

Worth it for a couple gems. But it borders on unlistenable; you are constantly reminded that he is reading...and not well. Countless awkward pauses and lack of spirit in conveying the story.

Great advice, difficult reader

Do yourself a favor and read the hard copy. The book is great (although I could have done without the contrived romance subplot): it's sales advice provided in narrative form. The reader of the audiobook speaks in very short spurts (in terms of volume and speed). The first word of the phrase is punched--almost yelled--yet two words later, he's mumbling so quietly I can barely make out what he was saying. Very difficult to follow.

Great, useful information in a story format that's easy to digest

I wasn't expecting this book to be so good. I heard about it after listening to "The Miracle Morning for Real Estate Agents" (I think it's called)

A must read for all in real estate!

Life changing!

Loved this book. Though, it did take me a little to get used to the author's reading style (performance). So many helpful tips on how to better yourself and your career.

The book has me shook

You are embarking on a journey of getting better, is that true? Hopefully everyone of you will get moved by this book as well. Now there's decisions to make, do you continue to do what you've been doing or do you change up your approach and give the lessons in this book a chance? It's an entirely different way to succeed at business, but the principles outlined make more than enough sense to work.

loved this book

big fan of this book and it motivated me to reevaluate my business and how I am running it. I will say that I'm a little put off by the not so ding on marketing aspect. Is this so.ethi g that will work in 2019+ 🤷🏿‍♂️. this book was written a while ago so I am curious to see if the same teachings still work today right now.

Cute, Corny, and packed with Value

Buy this book to learn and hear the concepts in action. The narrative was cute enough to keep me listening, simple enough for me to dig out a few strategies, and only corny enough to make me roll my eyes every now and then. I've listened to it three times and then bought the paperback.

Yessssss!

One would think that we would know people come first. Alas, the hype wins. Not anymore. Time for a mind shift!

2nd time around

This was my 2nd time listening to the book. My first time was right after real estate school and it didn’t speak to me as much as now, a little over two years into RE. I would recommend this to everyone!

Needs re-recording with a different narrator

The narrator is not great. Would recommend the physical book instead as the content sounds half decent - but I only lasted 2 chapters.

Well Delivered

I really enjoyed this book. I bought 2 books at the same time and I preferred the delivery of this one much more. The story of "Rick" is such a good way to experience the journey of transformation from following these principles.

This is an absolute bargain considering the quality of knowledge that is in this book.
