Grateful for the knowledge and stories

This is just what I needed to hear. I may new agent, just a few months into the real estate business. I'm rereading this book the second time now and taking some notes. it was enjoyable to listen to and inspiring at times.

The stories were engaging and got my attention.

Entertaining and Informative

As a beginning real estate agent, I was searching for a guide to help me along. I’ve heard many successful real estate agents are avid listeners/readers of how to books on finance, sales, and the real estate industry, so I thought I’d give it a try.

This is actually one of my first ever “self help” books—“self help” in this case meaning anything to give what I consider common sense advice on how to improve your daily life or enhance a specific skill. “Your First 365 Days in Real Estate” did just this with advice like wake up early, positive reinforcement, don’t give up, overcome your fears, build your connections. However, what I loved was that the author included plenty of personal anecdotes (while still retaining professional confidentiality, of course). She made this book more than a self help guide; she made it a fun and entertaining adventure story into her first year as a real estate agent. Although I’m not sure how helpful this book will be in my own personal real estate endeavors, I thoroughly enjoyed this story. Also, the narrator did a fantastic job of making this a fun listen!

Easy read, Shelley is a very good storyteller. not really a guide so much as proof there is no such thing as a perfect guide. More about grit and determination.

I loved this book so much. Going into real estate without knowing anything seems a lot less scary because of how informative and wonderful she wrote this book. I’ve learned more about real estate from this book than I did going through the real estate classes! So thankful to have come across this book. You should definitely read this book if you’re thinking about going into real estate or even already in real estate.
