Our scary future,?

This series is so good! Is this where we are headed in 2053?
I am voluntarily listening to and reviewing an Audible version of this series gifted to me from the author.
Book 4/5. Following these characters has been so entertaining and thought provoking. Do we want a socialist state? Do we have too much government control? Are we ready for robot everythings? Including spouses? Robot dogs for security and defense? Should we enhance and build our children? Etc. Etc.This ends on a cliffhanger. On to Book 5.
The two narrators are, again, just the best! 5 stars plus for them as well.

Fantastic Listen!

2050: Enemies of the State is the fourth installment of the Psycho Island series. Each book gets better with non-stop action, political intrigue and corruption and twists and turns you won’t see coming.
I don’t usually care for political thrillers, but having read other books by this author, I had to check it out. I’ve purchased and previously read all 5 books in this series and was given an opportunity to listen to the audiobooks. Although I know how the story goes, the narrators did a fantastic job of bringing the characters to life and the story to a higher level of enjoyment.
I will say there is a lot of graphic violence, sex and language in all five books, not my preference but the story makes it worth it.
Excellent series containing more truth than most people can handle or admit.
I’ve truly enjoyed this series and highly recommend!

Power Plays

The fourth book in the "2050" series began with a slow burn and then morphed into a thrilling cliffhanger. The beginning of this book was slow, but there were a lot of machinations between the characters that are jockeying for power. I find this type of writing diverting. The book does move into a more intense and exciting conclusion that does end on a cliffhanger. I enjoyed this story and I'm looking forward to the next book in the series. Tristan Wright's and Sarah Grace Wright's dual narration continues to be entertaining. I was given a free copy of the audiobook and I have voluntarily left this review.

Excellent story

Characters are captivating, and keep you wanting to know more.
The audio performance is excellent and make it all flow.

Not every dark cloud has a silver lining.

After listening to the first three books in the 2050 series I wasn’t sure where this series would go, but as I began listening to Enemies of the State it became obvious the direction it would take, but the direction was only the tip of the iceberg. Following Summer, Derek, Byron, Lindsey, and Patrick through their various challenges and adventures is like riding an old wooden rollercoaster. While the climb to the top may be a bit slow, the drops and turns are killers, and this story is filled with those drops and turns. Once again, Naomi’s story arc feels like it was pulled from the current news of the day, especially since there was an election while I was listening to Tristan and Sarah Grace Wright’s excellent narration. Now I’m wondering if I can rearrange my schedule to listen to the final book in the series right now. I received a review copy of the audiobook from the author and chose to provide this review.

Twists and turns galore

Love the series. Characters seem like an extension of family, friends and acquurances of life. There are both happy and sad twists and turns. I am relieved that there is a book 5 to continue where book 4 left off. The performances on audio are great.
