Easily digestible and actionable rules to thrive
As the author says, this is not a comprehensive list. The author will not bore you with hours of filler content in these rules. They are very direct, actionable, and helpful.
We know most of this information, but we still don’t take action. Here the list is given with some short helpful tips. It’s a great reminder that several implementations go into our thriving.
You can be physically fit, but neglecting your relationships, or mental health will ensure you aren’t thriving. We need to implement all of these rules simultaneously to not only survive but to thrive in life.
The narration was good overall. The narrator has an amazing voice for voiceover work. However, I felt like he spoke at me instead of to me. In a book of this nature, it’s important to “connect” with your readers. There was no real emotion behind the narration to engage me with the content. He read at a slow rate, so I listened to this at 1.7 X speed. Again, amazing voice, it did not keep me from finishing the book, great audio quality. Just not the right fit for this book in my opinion.
