What if you already met the soul mate you were destined to be with? And you didn’t even know it?

After losing her best friend to cancer, Corinne’s life is in flux. She has moved back to Chicago, is considering her next career move (or temp job), and has absolutely no time to look for love - until a mysterious dating app called Met suddenly appears on her phone, and with it, an invitation for Corinne to reconnect with four missed connections from her past. One of them, Met says, is her soul mate...

Corinne doesn’t believe the app for a second, but when she very quickly finds herself with back-to-back blasts from the past, she’ll have to consider if maybe she’s wrong about it. The thing is, Corinne’s also been introduced to a really great guy outside the app’s influence. As their feelings for each other grow, Corinne has to wonder: With her apparent true love still out there, should she tap yes to the next match?

With help from a new group of friends, her loving if annoying family, and maybe a touch of fate, can Corinne come to terms with the loss she’s still reeling from, take control of her career, and find love along the way?

nice but predictable. good performance by reader. Will be interesting in 10 years to see how many tech references will be dated.

This was a cute quick and enjoyable story! Yes some of the things are unrealistic but isn’t that why we read things like this. I recommend it. It’s something lighthearted to take your mind off whatever you’re going through

Enjoyable

Have We Met by Camille Baker is a cute and clean romance story. While this is my least favorite type of romance, I like the idea of the Met app, regardless of how predictable it is. I also enjoy the sexual, gender, and ability diversity that tends to be missing from adult romance novels.

Sisi Aisha Johnson is a good narrator. I didn't like that there are quite a few distracting mispronunciations that took me out of the story.

I rate Have We Met 3 stars. This is due to both the narrator and how immature Corrine is for 27 (like her mom still paying her rent while she complained that her mom wanted her to get on her feet😳) but did enjoy her journey.

I love it and my most remarkable moment was when Corey took up signing, because of Cor brothers.

I literally chose this book based upon the cover and I did not go wrong. I really enjoyed the story and how it dealt with so many real.things in life, but kept it as.lighthearted as possible. I enjoyed that the story was so inclusive without pushing some sort of issue, just as natural as it should be. I will.continue to look for.this authors work. Typing on a kindle is horrible by the way.

Unexpected Fun
