TSITP IS SO GOOD!!!

I finished it 6 hours straight! I loved it so much!! Lola Tung's narrating voice is so perfect! I enjoyed this book a lot!

The best book

First audio book

Ok, so I am NOT a fan of audiobooks. I feel like I do a better job narrating in my head BUT I read this book back in highschool 10 years ago so I thought I’d give the audiobook a shot since it was narrated by Lola Tung . I am SOOOOO happy I gave it a chance ! You won’t regret it , I loved it just as much as when I first read it .

Entertaining with lovely narration

I confess I watched the series on Amazon before knowing it was a book, but I quickly wanted to finish the story. I've now listened to the who series on audio book and grwlty enjoyed them all. I very much enjoyed Lola Tung as Belly both in the series and as narrator of these books. A great choice to continue our journey with Belly and the Fischer boys.

Loved the narrator

It was so special that the narrator sounded so into it the whole time. I looked it up, and apparently she’s Belly’s actress in the new show, so that made it SO much more immersive. You could really feel all the love for the character.

Soooo good

This book was so good and the main character was well written: fun but not reckless, good but not a mary sue, and so on. The reader perfectly fits the main character and sounds like a very smiley, genuine person and wouldn’t you know? It’s actually the person who plays Belly in the TV version! I really enjoyed this book and you should definitely check out the series (which I probably prefer more but the book is still super good). I would definitely recommend this book as a 13 year old girl.

A little slow, not my fav

I had debated which to do first: listen to the audiobook or watch the tv show of the Summer I Turned Pretty. I listened to the book first and regret it. The story was slow at times and it wasn’t until the last 45 min I was truly invested. The author did a good job capturing what it’s like to be a 15-16 year old girl, but as a 29 year old female reader, I found myself very annoyed with the main character throughout the book. I know my demographic may not be the main target for the book. From what I’ve heard about the show, I think I would enjoy that more.
