Entertaining read
I really enjoyed this story! I loved getting to know more about Yardley (she is mentioned along with Harmony Kennels and seen a few times in prior books) and Harmony Kennels. I loved Kai as well and getting to know him. This story was entertaining and pulled me in from beginning to end. We get a little bit more intrigue in this one as we try and figure out what has happened to Yardley's guy that seems to have possibly ghosted her but things just aren't adding up. Kai is sent in by Yardley's brother to make sure she is okay and help her out without really knowing the history that these two share. I loved watching these two come back together and figure out what was going on. Kai still has a thing for Yardley but he is helping her find her current love interest. It makes for a very interesting story as they try and untangle all the strings. This story had action and it was great getting to learn/see two different and new breeds and what their strengths and weaknesses were as well as what they had been trained for. I enjoyed this story.
The narrator did a good job adding a little extra to the story and the characters.
