Excellent

The first time I listened to this was on a busy commuter train and I felt an instant calm. although I had heard of mindfulness I didn't know much about it. yet as his words unfolded I knew this would be important for me. It has taken me a couple of years to start regular practise but I have listened to this many times in that time. It started me on a journey which I suspect will make the rest of my life a nicer place to be.

Great contemplative book

This book is great on many levels. Whilst it is interesting on an information level the content becomes overwhelmingly relevant as you continue through the book. A definite good read/listen!

Wonderfully guided by the speaker.

I strongly recommend this practice. I can honestly say I can think with more clarity and have been learning how to let go moment by moment. I feel happier, inner peace and live a well balanced life.

An incredible experience

It's hard not to fall asleep it's that peaceful and calming.
I woke up with my physical pain levels almost melted away.
I cannot remember feeling such a deep levels of calm.

A great guide on meditation for beginner's

If you don't know much about meditation then this is a great book for you. When reading this book is gives you a lot of information on different ways to Meditate. Even when you are at work or somewhere that you begin to fill stressed and don't fill you have the time, they explain that it can be done in 10 minutes. Meditation helps you reconnect with your inner self it also helps you find peace. I am a mother of six children and now learning about meditation I feel that this will benefit me greatly.

A great tip for stress.

The book also says to do this the same time everyday or on the days you pick. This book would really be good for anyone wanting to help themselves become more calm and at peace. Tons of tips how to do the meditation.I am really glad I had the chance to read this book. So I am as well try to help my mind to be calm and at peace. Good

A lot of folks could benefit from some relaxation techniques and daily meditations and this book helps guide you through the practice of it. I felt the book was easy to follow and explained the different styles of meditation very well. Definitely a great book for beginner's wanting to check out Meditation practices

Must have

This book answered any questions I had about meditation. I loved how simple most the meditations were to do. If you are a beginner and want to know anything you can to start your journey to deal with stress, anxiety or learn new ways of thinking then this is definitely a must listen for you!

This book changed things for me dramatically - I lead a busy and often stressful life and this helped me learn how to step away from that and not get bogged down in daily stress and over thinking things but take some time to just appreciate the moment and bring some calm and non judgemental thinking to my day.

Mind altering, world changing

I've listened over and over and over to this wonderful audiobook.

Soulful voice soothes and heals while you sit - or lie - and you can do the meditations sitting or lying down.

I'm not saying this is the panacea for all known human woes.

But it offers the chance to see the world through a different lens.

A lens that needs constant cleaning.

Well worth the money!

It is very easy to listen to, explaining the history and practice of mindfulness in every day life. The first half is a talk about mindfulness, the second half is a series of simple mindfulness exercises. Well worth the money!

Great book for Beginners

have always wondered how people meditate and what it involved. I was more than happy to read the book and did learn a lot. I am now able to use the tool of meditation to help me during the day. As a beginner myself I thought I was doing something wrong because I could not clear my head. The book does get into that and explains why. It is a great resource and is written very well. I never would have thought you could learn to meditate by reading a book. I just figured you would need someone to coach and guide you in person. The book has been my coach.

Listen it

The book is very easy to read and also very helpful in explaining to someone what meditation is and what it can do. Great book for beginners!! I highly recommend it...you will be glad you read it.

Best one

All though it can seem complicated and unneeded this book and meditation is quite helpful. It helps to relax and clear your mind of a stressful atmosphere. I did enjoy each explanation of the different types of meditation. Now for a beginner you may have to re-read a section a few times before understanding what you are reading. For and advanced or intermediate yoga or meditation fanatic (like myself) it will be much easier to understand what is being said.
