This genre will be added to my list! I loved the story and the action. I look forward to more from this MC

Jake Thane but not Jake Thane

The ability of the author to create a main character to function in both a group setting and an individual setting and still make it enjoyable to listen to is an outstanding job. This does indeed remind me of the primal Hunt series on how Jake is capable of functioning both in a party and in an individual setting while I cannot necessarily draw a direct comparison between the gods in this book so that of Villy in the primal hunter series, they’re certainly some similarities and I am looking forward to many more books of this series.

Video game aspect

Lovely book - though the repetitiveness of the leveling got a bit annoying. Overall a good book! 5 out of 5

Less Imaginative Murder Hobo Story

We ought to give Azrie some slack, because she is a relatively new author. And this is probably the story for some, it's not like the name berserker isn't in the title.

But when i compare this to some other more popular murder hobo stories, I just find that so very little happens by comparison. There is just fighting, fighting, fighting. Where are the odd environments? the interesting powers? the character development? And so on.

There is nothing wrong with this, it's derivative of other litrpg stories, and entirely fine for what it is.

The narration... the narrator is acting like a reader more than a performer. Here and there she misses opportunities for pauses, timing, inflection, humor.

So yeah, it's in that second to third tier. A decent buy on sale, or an option if you have 200 books and want something with tropes so familiar as to almost. e comforting. But i can point towards a dozen other series I would recommend first.

-- The story has reached four books so far. perhaps some of my complaints are dealt with later on.

The storyline

The story is great but the listing of stats and skill is a little much with the robot like voice.

Expand your vocabulary (minor spoiler)

Overall the book well done with only a couple minor inconsistencies and personal dislike. However my main gripe is how well the story is written at the start, but by the time our main character leaves the starting area much of her dialogue consists of f-bombs. I enjoy some cursing, but when its used suddenly every few paragraphs (especially during battle) it really just feels lazy or as if a teen wrote this. Equally the villain's have a bad "Let me tell you all our secrets while we fight" like a bad anime. Otherwise the narrator was good and the story alright.

Wow great find. I didn't think I'd enjoy it but it was nonstop and action packed!

This is my second time reading this book 1st through K U, and now Audible. The audible version was great, the narrator was excellent, a woman reading a story about a female MC, well done. I see both authors, handiwork, and fingerprints on his story. I love both of the authors of the works, including arc which is my favorite storyline. You guys need to give the MC some sort of dimensional storage to carry all her junk around. And as a woman she needs to be able to take baths and stay clean when my wife was listening to this book she was having a fit concerning the lack of cleanliness for the female MC. There. Are a few glitches in the sentence structure in some portions, but it does not take you out of the story. Hope the second book comes out on Audible real soon. Really worth the listen and the read, you won’t go wrong.
