Very well written

The other reviews that not lie, this book was amazing very well written, and the characters were very well flushed out you felt drawn in abd i want more

Good read

I can tell this can go on for 20+ books and I’ll end up buying all of them. It’s a dark fantasy story under the veil of a fairytale story. It’s a really fun read

Something about this MC just hits me right… she’s tough yet innocent and the right kind of silly.

No words. Absolutely fantastic. Experience with similar stories made me expect a light hearted story and I thought I was right and then the ending shocked me to my core.

I really enjoyed this the voice acting was amazing and this book made me tear up a bit a few times lol can't wait till the next one!

Great book! Surprisingly normal Protag!

I really liked this book and it really scratches that litrpg itch. Unique main character with a race that isn’t used as often as I would like, also the book depicts her truly embodying her characters slowly but surely.

I have a slight bias because I love how fluid and somewhat realistic she is in her situation, at the same time I hate when people get into bad situations even though they had all the tools to not be there.

(Spoiler) For Example, she has the ability to both see the hue of people’s souls and basically has an appraisal skill but gets caught lacking in the end. On one hand you might expect her to show more caution in a new dangerous world but on the other when someone with new trauma find safety they may dive into it completely, throwing away caution to not think about it. Like living in a dangerous area but finding relative safety in your house, you may have to push the danger away to stay sane.

I both loved and hated this but that’s the beauty of well written characters. Wrote too much but I truly want to listen to the next book.

Strong characters, weak ending

The book is really entertaining and the characters and their interactions are amusing and well done. But the author trips at the finish line. The bad guys plan seems to have been. "I hope everyone looks the other way and some people make poor choices for 5 minutes so I can do my evil plot." and the frustrating part is that is the plan that works. I think the real issue is the author is great at writing interactions with sympathetic characters but struggles to express what and why for BIg bad evils actions. You're reading a character story for 35 chapters and then for the last 3 you're get a weird and unsatisfying cliffhanger.

fantastic take on isakai

love the book and I'm looking forward to seeing more from this author. love the fact the MC isn't a fantasy nerd in anyway and has to get her nerd information from others

Great story

This is a great story and probably one of my favorites. I am looking forward to book 2 and more Sebastian the Brave. 😁

Great story brought to life by a talented narrator

I had read and loved this book on its initial release, but being a corporate slave I listen to a lot of audiobooks on my commute. This one is very well done, the characters really come to life and the narrator has a great variety of voices, characters, accents, and intonation. I am really enjoying it and will definitely relisten again in the future!
