I really enjoyed this one. Jax and Claire seemed to be heading in the direction of their HEA during the girls two week vacation, but then she up and just leaves. They keep in touch for just a bit and then things fall apart. My heart hurt for Jax. Things happen that you don’t see coming and years later we find out what all took place and really changed the outcome of this story. It’s sweet and sad and will make you mad. But in the end I really enjoyed seeing how it all ended.

Great storytelling

I can barely put into words how fabulous I thought this story was. Add in Joe Arden, Andi Louise, and Savannah Thomas, and I was entranced. This was a loopy and wild story that was told with so much emotion. I normally don’t like third person POV, but when Joe is the storyteller, it’s hard not to fully immerse yourself into this world. I never expected the big twist, but I liked Sara more from the beginning, so I was glad they ended up together. This is a cute story!

This was a beautiful story with some spice and a twist I didn’t see coming. With the beach setting it was the perfect summer read. Joe Arden, Andi Eloise and Savannah Thomas did an amazing job narrating. They captured the characters personalities, emotions and even the southern accents so well. I absolutely loved it! It was so well written and I can’t wait to discover more from this author.

Poetically beautiful

Omg this was one of the best masterfully written books I have read in a long time. The story line was amazing and the audio duet style was phenomenal. Listened to this entire book in one shot and boy it had it all. You felt every emotion in this one grab the tissues because there is some of the best written story line that brings out raw emotions like you are part of this story. Mr Aaron you sir have blown me away. I definitely will be reading his next books.

Heartbreaking Story

The story was good. It was a bit confusing in the middle. It didn’t seem like the overall love expected and more like something you see happen in rare occasions out of responsibility. However, the ending brought me to tears and the love seen and lost was heart wrenching.

It shattered my heart and slowly put it back together. Aaron’s writing was amazing and the Narrators did a fantastic job bringing the characters to life!!!! I didn’t see the plot twist coming at all. It was a beautiful rhythm through out the entire book. It gave me an undeniable pull the entire time. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

One of those stories that stays with you

Aaron McLean is a new-to-me author, and he moved straight onto my favorites list after this story. From the very first moment, especially the epilogue, I was completely hooked. Normally, third-person books are not really my thing and I struggled a little at first, but I pushed through and I am so glad I did. This book gave me chills in the best way, with multiple goosebump moments that reminded me why I love reading (and listening) so much.

This book truly has it all: loss, family bonds, tension, just the right amount of spice, and twists that kept me on edge. I found myself laughing at times, swooning at others, but also feeling frustration, anger, and even tears building up as I listened. It’s a story that makes you feel every possible emotion, sometimes all in the same chapter. And those “WTF” moments? There were plenty. This wasn’t just another romance it felt like an emotional journey I was living alongside the characters.

Performed in duet by Savannah Thomas, Andi Eloise, and Joe Arden, this audiobook was exceptional. Each narrator added heart and depth, but Joe Arden’s performance as Jaxon completely blew me away. He didn’t just tell Jaxon’s story he was Jaxon. The way he delivered the lines made the emotions hit even harder, and it felt like he breathed life into every moment. This was more than just narration, it was storytelling at its finest.
