Some love stories never fade. They echo through time.
Chase Montgomery has always been the golden boy of Wrightsville Beach—reckless, charming, and impossible to resist. And Savannah Monroe? She was the one girl he never forgot.
Years ago, Savannah left, determined to escape the past—and him. But when she returns for one last summer in this small coastal town, the boy who once set her soul on fire is no longer just a memory. He's a man. Quieter, stronger, and just as devastating.
One look, one touch, and the sparks reignite. Nights tangled in sheets. Mornings filled with whispered confessions. A love so fierce, so consuming, it feels like fate.… until fear wins.
A year later, an unexpected letter arrives, carrying the one thing they never thought they'd have again: a second chance at love.
Chase has never been the type to chase anyone. But for Savannah? He's willing to break every rule.
A heartfelt second-chance beach romance with an unforgettable twist! If you love summer love stories, small-town beach settings, heart-wrenching emotional journeys, and steamy romance novels filled with passion, longing, and fate, this book is for you.

The story itself is a different take on the one-that-got-away trope. It did remind me a bit of The Notebook, mostly the setting and the house, but with an important twist. In this version, the FMC is the one who walks away, which adds an interesting emotional layer. SPOILER: I will give the author credit; he absolutely got me at the end. For a few paragraphs, I honestly thought the MMC might choose the FMC’s friend. My heart dropped, and I was thinking, No way. After all that waiting? The fact that the writing made me doubt it, even briefly, deserves kudos. All in all, if you are looking for a feel-good romance with solid narration and just a touch of spice, I would recommend.
