Such a fun read!

Great characters. So much humor! I laughed out loud numerous times! I loved Elisabeth and her relationship with her brothers. Definitely would recommend.

Elizabeth comes home & stays with frenemy Nate

Elizabeth is the daughter of Dr. Denise and hockey dad Zack. That makes her Cooper Stone’s granddaughter but sadly no scenes with him or her grandma. Lots with her brother Jack though and a few with parents and Uncle Max. There are also mentions a a few of her cousins from more recent books like Arielle and Lexie but the only disappointment in this book is not much dialogue with other family members. She has the mouth and sarcastic wit of her uncles M & M which makes for an entertaining read. When she comes back from a 7 year stint in Australia for her brother Josh’s over the top wedding prep she is stuck staying with former crush & her brothers’ best friend, Noah and his Golden retriever and 2 cats. A fun, very cute romance, once an epic misunderstanding is cleared up. This is a light hearted, enjoyable read that is definitely worth the credit and for fans of the Stone hockey family, it is a holiday treat not to be missed, though spoiler alert for early readers, this was released before Lexie’s story and there is a brief mention of her HEA and her obvious hero from cousin Arabella’s book.

Just what my holiday loving heart needed by one of the best writers in rom com. This was such a great read and a joy to spend with so many characters we love and miss. Amazing edition to the Christmas rom com collections of books you must listen to.

Good Christmas rom com!

I enjoyed this book a lot, I’ve been reading a lot of Christmas rom coms and this was a better one but a couple things drove me nuts- one, the MMC mentions her beautiful blonde hair a couple times yet the cover shows her in the dress described in a scene with brown hair! And in one scene they are at a tree farm to cut down a Christmas tree and the FMC demands to cut the tree down herself even though there are people there who do it for you and everyone thinks she’s crazy. She struggles so much but ends up getting it done- I am from MA and in New England, we cut down trees every year at tree farms for fun! They give you a little hand saw and you saw away like her and yes it takes work, but it is not crazy like described. I once cut ours down 9 months pregnant! So just a couple silly little things that caught my attention and I had to say but they didn’t take away from the story. It was cute! I loved their banter and the tension between them. Of course there was the miscommunication trope where both felt the other wronged them after their one magical night so many years ago. I liked both MC though sometimes the FMC got to be a little too much with her always complaining specifically about her brothers wedding. The narrators were great! I loved their ending! Good read!
