best adventure

this book feels original and the cat is a blast i can't wait till a 4th book comes out

great book and series

I truly love this series. it is very well written and keeps sucking you in, I will be awaiting the next books to come. performance was very well done as well.

Pace is fine.

Unlike what some of the TikTok brainrot attention span viewers below are saying, the pacing is just fine. Not every series needs to be running off jet fuel, slow burning world building is completely acceptable. Looking forward to the fourth book!

power progression

this story is about stats there is no plot just like the 2nd book nothing has significant has happened since the first book it's all just fluff add slice of life to description nothing happens

2.5, good voice acting, lousy story.

Normally, action RPGs increase in conflict, increase in action. This book had a whole lot of nothing but powerups against worms. Oh, the looming maelstrom consuming island shards. The big dark city can't catch the island shards our heroes occupy. That's it, power ups, King and Queen talk, nothing else. Worst in the series, not sure if I would pick up book 4.

I'm done

nothin happens, nothing at all. even the bloopers are horrible. 3 books and it still seems like the story hasn't even started.

Boring

I really wanted to like this book, but 3 books in and I feel like nothing has happened. I've listened to alot of audiobooks and this is the first that's compelled me to leave a review because of how frustratingly boring the series has been. The characters and story have potential but its just a whole lot of talking with nothing really happening. I find myself constantly spacing out and realizing that I listened to an hour but havent really missed all that much story because the pacing of this book is crap. I'm not asking for jet fuel pacing and constant combat but how long are they gonna stay on that island do jack all. I'm gonna finish this because I paid for it but this is the last stop for me.

WHERE IS THE PROGRESS?!?!

I can appreciate a crafting grind but what the hell man. This whole book is a flood of excessive stats and zero to little story progression. How the hell have they not met another island the whole time?!

Makes me want to drop this series.

I don't like books that are used as buildup for the next book. It is ruff when nothing really happens.
